Job summary

Harris Regional Medical Center in Sylva, NC is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. The role includes scrubbing for procedures, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting the circulating nurse under RN supervision.

This full-time position offers a 7,500 USD sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment, and requires BLS, OR technician training, and CST certification. Daily rounds occur Monday–Friday with on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification.
• Completion/graduation from an approved OR Technician program.
• Certification as a Surgical Technician.

Responsibilities

• Set up surgical procedures, scrub on cases and facilitate flow of surgical patients.
• Work under the guidance of the Registered Nurse and care for patients.
• Ensure clear communication between circulating nurse, patient and hospital staff.
