Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Harris Regional Medical Center in Sylva, NC is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a full-time daytime role. You will set up procedures, scrub on cases, and support the flow of surgical patients under RN guidance.

This position offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth. Certification and BLS are required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification as Surgical Technician and/or OR Technician program graduate is required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire is required.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up surgical procedures, scrub on cases and facilitate the flow of surgical patients.
• Work under the guidance of the Registered Nurse and share responsibility for patient care.
• Coordinate communication between the team, patient, other staff, physician and hospital departments.
