Job summary

Harris Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Surgical Technologist, Certified to join our operating room team in Sylva, NC. The role supports scrubbing on cases, sets up procedures and collaborates with RNs to ensure patient safety and smooth workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as Surgical Technician and/or graduation from an approved OR Technician program required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up surgical procedures and scrub on cases to facilitate patient flow.
• Work under the guidance of the Registered Nurse and assist with patient care and safety.
• Ensure effective communication among the circulating nurse, patient, staff, and physicians.
