Job summary

Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York seeks a Systems Administrator for Surgical Services. You will manage IT systems affecting operations, schedule procedures, post surgical charges, and handle data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities include preparing pre-operative charts, data analysis, report generation, and supporting the Surgical Services team under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the Systems administration of all information technologies impacting on the operations of Surgical Services. JOB OUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the Operating Room or other related Surgical Services Department preferred. Surgical acumen related to scheduling/clerical/ administrative processes.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision. General knowledge of Windows based applications and systems hardware. Surgical terminology required. Basic PC skills required-windows proficient Typing 40 wpm Working knowledge of basic office equipment preferred -photocopiers, computer printers.
