Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Clean surfaces and equipment in OR and dispose of hospital waste safely.
• Transport patients, lab samples, and supplies as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and order as required.
• Check supplies for surgeries and restock case carts per physician preferences.
• Open sterile supplies under clinician supervision.
• Prepare instrument sets and perform flash sterilization tests.
• Respond to emergencies and support the surgical team as needed.
