Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Surgical Support Technician for the Round Rock OR. The role supports surgical teams, maintains sterile procedures, and ensures supplies are ready for procedures. The position is full-time days with orientation and no on-call requirements.

Responsibilities include cleaning, transporting, inventory management, and assisting clinicians in sterile preparation under supervision. Benefits are offered as part of a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Experience: Less than 1 year
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer

Responsibilities

• Clean surfaces and equipment in OR; decontaminate after surgery and dispose of hospital waste safely.
• Transport patients, lab samples, and supplies.
• Manage inventory by monitoring levels, restocking, and ordering.
• Check supplies for surgeries and restock case carts.
