Job summary

Greater Hartford area opportunity with PhysicianCareerJobs for a PA or Acute Care NP in surgery. No-call nights with premium differentials, first-assist in the OR, and extensive hands-on experience across multiple specialties including general, thoracic, vascular, colorectal, and plastic surgery.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Connecticut medical license or eligibility required.
• Certified Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner required.
• 1+ year of experience as PA/NP in surgery or related setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• First-assist in the OR with extensive hands-on surgical experience.
• ED and inpatient consultations, admissions, rounding, and discharges.
• Perform invasive bedside procedures.
• Exposure to diverse surgical specialties and robotic procedures.
• Collaborative team of physicians and PAs with mentorship and orientation.
