Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain seeks a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join the General Surgery team. You will provide first assist in the OR, perform admissions and discharges, round on patients, and perform bedside procedures with surgeons across multiple subspecialties.

The role involves collaboration with a diverse surgical team in an inpatient setting, with a rotating full-time schedule and no call.

Qualifications

• CT license or eligible to practice.
• Certification as PA or ACNP in acute care required.

Responsibilities

• First assist in the operating room.
• _admissions, discharges, rounding, bedside procedures, and surgery consults.
• Collaborate with surgeons across general, thoracic, vascular and related subspecialties.
