Job summary

Stamford Health in Stamford, CT is seeking an experienced Surgical Physician Assistant to join our team in the Surgical Subspecialties. This is a full-time position requiring OR first assist and clinical work in a busy surgical service.

The PA will work under the direction of a physician to evaluate and treat patients across urology, neurosurgery, and select oral/maxillofacial and ENT cases; a 24/7 in-house schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week and self-scheduling is provided.

Qualifications

• Experienced Surgical Physician Assistant.
• OR First Assist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation and treatment of patients with medical and surgical conditions.
• Provide broad spectrum of general patient care under physician supervision.
• Perform OR first assist duties during surgical procedures as needed.
