Job summary

Spencer Britt is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time, nights position in the Greater Hartford area. This role offers extensive hands-on surgical experience and the ability to practice at the top of your license within a highly collaborative team of 22 physicians and 9 PAs.

You will serve as first-assist in the OR, handle ED and inpatient consultations, admissions, rounding, and discharges, and perform invasive bedside procedures with exposure to

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Connecticut medical license or eligibility.
• Certified Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
• 1+ year of experience as a PA or NP in surgery or a related setting.

Responsibilities

• First-assist in the OR with extensive hands-on surgical experience.
• ED and inpatient consultations, admissions, rounding, and discharges.
• Perform invasive bedside procedures.
• Exposure to robotic procedures, vascular interventions, breast reconstruction, thoracic surgery, and more.
• Opportunity for significant procedural autonomy.
• Practice at the top of your license.
