Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast is hiring a Surgical Services Attendant to support the care team in the operating room and procedural areas. The role involves patient transport, positioning, and equipment turnover, along with maintaining sterile technique and room readiness.

You will work rotating shifts, participate in onboarding for new staff, and collaborate with Biomed and vendors to ensure equipment is available and functional. Strong safety awareness and physical stamina are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical procedures.
• BLS certification (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and equipment to designated areas.
• Set up and turnover of procedural suites.
• Maintain cleanliness and stocking of operating/procedural rooms.
• Coordinate equipment repairs with Biomed and vendors.
• Assist onboarding and training of new staff in the role.
