Job summary

South Texas Spine & Surgical Hospital is seeking a Surgical Services Manager to lead safe and efficient operating room operations at our Outpatient Center and hospital surgical suites. Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing with current and valid licensure with Texas State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS & ACLS required or obtained within 30 days of hire and PALS certification within 60 days of hire.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required or obtainable within 2 years of hire.
• Master’s degree highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates development of working relationships with Administration, CNO, Medical Staff, hospital staff, patients and family members.
• Directs nursing and ancillary personnel in planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating patient care.
• Oversees OR and sterile processing operations to ensure safe, efficient care.
• Participates in budget development and cost containment measures for clinical services.
• Maintains compliance with state, federal and accrediting body regulations and standards.
