Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Texas.
• Minimum of 3 years OR management or supervisory experience.
• AORN Certification preferred.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in managing conflict in stressful conditions.
• Excel skills and Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, schedule, and evaluate performance of OR, Scheduling, and Sterile Processing staff.
• Improve surgeon and patient satisfaction and employee engagement.
• Coordinate staffing, equipment, and supplies for surgical cases with surgeons and vendors.
• Oversee procurement and budgeting for equipment and instruments.
• Ensure medical equipment is maintained and repaired with Biomed and facilities.
• Ensure sterilization and storage of instruments and supplies.
