Job summary

BAS Healthcare, Inc. seeks a skilled Advanced Practitioner / Physician Assistant for a night shift role providing post-operative care on the floor and in the ICU.

You will evaluate ED admissions, surgical consult patients, and assist in the operating room, including robotic cases, in collaboration with specialists. Ideal candidates hold an MS in Physician Assistant Studies or an active Massachusetts NP license, with EPIC EHR experience preferred, and relevant certifications (DEA, BLS, ACLS).

Qualifications

• Must hold MS in Physician Assistant Studies or an active Massachusetts NP license.
• Active DEA licensure (State & Federal) required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• EPIC EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative care on the inpatient floor and in the ICU.
• Evaluate and admit patients from the Emergency Department.
• Evaluate surgical consult patients and coordinate care with the surgical team.
• Perform bedside procedures as needed.
• First assist in the OR, including robotic surgery cases, as needed.
• Partner with specialist physicians to deliver safe, high-quality inpatient surgical care.

Job Details:

• Night shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week
• Provide post-operative care on the floor and in the ICU
• Evaluate and admit patients from the Emergency Department
• Evaluate surgical consult patients
• Perform bedside procedures as needed
