Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Winchester Hospital is seeking an independently licensed NP or PA to join the Surgical Services team for night shifts. You will provide post-op care on the floor and ICU, evaluate and admit patients from the ED, and assist with OR procedures, including robotic surgery, as needed.

We expect MS in PA studies or MA NP license, with DEA, BLS, ACLS credentials and relevant surgical experience.

Qualifications

• MS in Physician Assistant Studies or MA Nurse Practitioner License required.
• Active MA NP license or PA with state licensure required.
• DEA licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-op care on the floor and ICU.
• Evaluate and admit patients from the ED.
• Evaluate surgical consult patients and coordinate care.
• Perform bedside procedures as needed.
• First assist in the OR, including robotic surgery.

Elevate your career with our Surgical team! As an independently licensed NP or PA, you’ll partner with specialist physicians to deliver safe, high-quality inpatient surgical care in a supportive, high-performing environment.

Key Details

• Schedule: Nighttime only (Three 12-hour shifts/week)
• EHR: EPIC preferred

Core Responsibilities

• Provide post-op care on the floor and ICU
• Evaluate and admit patients from the ED
• Evaluate surgical consult patients
• Perform bedside procedures
• First assist in the OR (including robotic surgery) as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education/License: MS in Physician Assistant Studies OR Active MA Nurse Practitioner License
• Certifications: State & Federal DEA licensure, BLS, and ACLS
• Experience: Clinical experience in Surgical Services

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of specialty clinical experience
• 1+ year of experience with surgical patients

Pay Range:

$117,000.00 - $191,000.00

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
