BAS Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Practitioner/Physician Assistant for a 183-bed regional hospital in Winchester, MA. You will serve as a first assist in the OR, perform bedside procedures, and provide post-operative care in the ICU and on the floor across various surgical services.

DEA licensure and MA PA license are required, with BLS/ACLS certifications. Experience in surgical services, chest tube management, and familiarity with EPIC is preferred.

Job Details:

• First assist in the operating room, including robotic surgery
• Perform bedside procedures
• Provide post-operative care in the ICU and on the floor
• Evaluate and admit patients from the Emergency Department
• Evaluate surgical consults
• Active Physician Assistant License in the State of Massachusetts required
• Clinical experience in Surgical Services with first-assist ability required
• State and Federal DEA licensure required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Basic computer skills required; EPIC experience preferred
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in a specialty preferred
• Experience managing General, Vascular, Thoracic, Spine, and Gynecologic Oncology surgical patients preferred
• Experience with chest tube placement and management preferred
• Influenza vaccination required as a condition of employment
