USPI is seeking a Scrub Technician in Colorado to anticipate the needs of the surgical team, establish and maintain a sterile field, and support the operating room during procedures.

You will assist the physician, maintain sterility of supplies, collaborate with the circulating nurse, perform counts, gown and glove surgeons, and help with specimen handling, equipment processing, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifikationen

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• State of Colorado Surgical Registry required
• BLS required.

Aufgaben

• Assist physician with operative procedures and maintain sterile field.
• Anticipate surgeon's needs before and during procedures.
• Ensure sterility of supplies and instruments during setup.
• Assist circulating nurse and surgical team; perform counts pre- and intra-operatively.
• Gown and glove surgeons and assistants; update physician preference cards.
• Transport instruments for cleaning and reprocessing; uphold safety protocols.
