Job summary

USPI The Orthopedic Surgery Center of Arizona is seeking a full-time OR Assistant to support perioperative care in our specialty inpatient facility in Phoenix, AZ. You will assist with patient monitors setup, equipment, and contribute to efficient turnover and supply management during surgical procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR or BLS certification, and demonstrated clinical competency; CNA/MA credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• CPR or BLS certification required or current.
• Demonstrates necessary clinical competency.
• CNA, MA or other certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care by assisting with the setup and takedown of operating room procedures.
• Assists in stocking of operating rooms and ensuring supplies and equipment are available.
• Ensures adherence to peri-operative nursing care standards and Universal Protocol.
