Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Surgical Scrub Technician to assist the operating room team with sterile field preparation and instrument handling. You will support surgeons throughout procedures and ensure instruments and supplies are ready for sterile use in a fast-paced OR setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining aseptic technique, passing instruments during surgeries, counting sponges and needles with the RN, and transporting patients as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED — Required
• Associate’s/Technical Degree — Preferred
• Scrub technician and/or operating room experience — Preferred
• Surgery Technician Certification — Preferred
• BLS/CPR certification — Required

Responsibilities

• Prepare surgical cases, instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Set up and maintain a sterile field using proper aseptic technique.
• Pass instruments, supplies, and medications during procedures.
• Complete instrument, sponge, needle, and blade counts with the RN.
• Maintain surgical equipment and inventory.
• Collect case data and perform required clerical duties.
• Clean equipment and maintain a safe, organized operating room.
• Transport patients as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
