Job summary

CCRM Fertility is seeking a Surgery Center Scrub Technician on a PRN basis. The role supports surgeons, nurses, and the surgical team by maintaining a sterile environment and providing essential instrument support during procedures.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, ARC/STSA/CAAHEP-certified Surgical Technologist credential, BLS, and 1+ year OR experience. Work is in a clinical setting with potential for overtime pay and differential pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Surgical Technologist certification from ARC/STSA, a CAAHEP-accredited program, required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ years OR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain/check supplies and equipment for each procedure; alert nurse manager if items are needed.
• Prepare the surgical table, blocks, mayo stand with instruments and supplies for each procedure.
• Perform counts with circulator before incision and before closure.
• Prep surgical sites and drape sterile fields.
• Maintain sterile technique during procedures and pass instruments to the surgeon.
• Prepare instruments for terminal sterilization and perform weekly OR cleaning.
