The position emphasizes HIPAA compliance and accurate data handling while coordinating with insurance, pre-op instructions, and patient communication throughout the scheduling process.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused mindset.

• Ability to interpret data and maintain accuracy under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with staff and patients in line with Jefferson values.
• Collects and reviews patient insurance information and prior authorizations as needed.
• Completes pre-procedure calls and confirms appointment times with patients.
• Provides patients with all necessary pre-operative instructions.
• Maintains HIPAA privacy and security compliance.
• Ensures adherence to applicable regulations and standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
