Job summary

United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Surgical Scheduler in the Gastroenterology division in Binghamton, NY. The role focuses on scheduling surgical procedures, coordinating pre- and post-operative appointments, and obtaining necessary authorizations.

You’ll work with clinicians and hospital staff to ensure timely care, with a standard 40-hour work week and a compensation range of $17.98–$25.17 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in healthcare OR scheduling experience preferred.
• Experience in customer service is required.
• Proficient PC skills and knowledge of insurance referral processes.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical procedures in ORSOS.
• Schedule pre- and post-operative appointments.
• Obtain authorizations for procedures.
• Coordinate with clinical team and hospital staff.
