Job summary

Sight360 is seeking a hardworking Surgical Coordinator to manage scheduling for surgeries and coordinate with surgeons, patients, and insurance providers. The role includes pre- and post-operative support, documentation, and ensuring smooth operations across clinic locations.

You will handle appointment reminders, paperwork, billing support, and patient communications while maintaining accurate records and coordinating with medical staff for successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Surgical Coordinator – preferred.
• Experience in providing administrative support in a health care setting - required.
• Understanding of medical terminology, and medical coding – required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients' appointments and surgeries, sending reminders and rescheduling as needed.
• Verify insurance information and prepare bills for submission to insurers.
• Answer phones and emails with questions about surgical times, appointments, and instructions.
• Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions and obtain necessary consents.
• Manage surgical documents and input patient data into records.
• Maintain surgical inventory and prepare equipment and rooms for procedures.
