Job summary

Reliant is seeking a Surgical Scheduling Coordinator in Worcester, MA to manage efficient scheduling for General Surgery and Urology. The role requires coordinating appointments, working with OR staff, and ensuring accurate patient data and pre-admission procedures.

You will interact with physicians, insurance companies and patients to optimize scheduling and resource use, while maintaining compliance and high attendance. The role is full-time and on-site in Worcester.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc.
• Previous scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient appointments at multiple facilities.
• Develop enterprise-wide scheduling for tests, pre-admission, surgery and referrals.
• Schedule additional appointments as needed due to abnormalities or patient requests.
• Verify insurance information and pre-register patients.
• Communicate with physicians, staff, and patients to resolve scheduling issues.
