Qualifications
- 3+ years in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in healthcare
- Must read, write and speak conversational English
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to document accurately and concisely
Responsibilities
- Schedule patients for surgery and handle facility paperwork
- Obtain scheduling, demographic, insurance and clinical information
- Coordinate with physicians and staff for add-on cases
- Prepare and manage advance surgical schedule and tentative schedules
- Maintain hospital schedules and assist with staff orientation
