Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule procedures and surgeries accurately and without conflicts.
• Enter data into the EHR system and coordinate with insurance verifications.
• Maintain current CPT and ICD-9 codes.
• Maintain and distribute surgery schedules in a timely manner.
• Obtain physician signatures when required.
• Handle internal and external telephone communications.
• Protect patient confidentiality and PHI.
