Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling of surgical procedures with providers, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and other facilities.
• Review orders and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Enter scheduling details into the EHR and maintain communications.
• Coordinate pre-admission testing and preoperative appointments.
• Notify patients and staff of changes; escalate delays as needed.
• Monitor pending requirements and ensure workflows are completed.
• Support revenue cycle with authorization and billing coordination.
• Maintain documentation and protect patient information.
