Inova Health is seeking a dedicated Patient Access Specialist Sr for the OBGYN team in Fairfax. This full-time day-shift role supports patient intake, documentation, financial counseling, and complex insurance coordination while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

The position emphasizes auditing records, training peers, and handling patient communications, with a focus on accuracy and patient advocacy in a fast-paced environment.

• Patient Intake, Registration & Documentation: Audits records and documentation for accuracy, troubleshoots discrepancies, and supports escalations.
• Administrative & Technology Operations: Compiles reports, troubleshoots system issues, and supports peers.
• Case Management Tasks: Audits referrals and supports escalations.
• Financial Counseling: Conducts financial reviews and mentors staff.
• Insurance & Contract Coordination: Troubleshoots complex cases and educates peers on insurance contract nuances.
• Inquiries & Patient Concerns: Handles escalations and analyzes trends.

• Ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable federal and state regulations.
