Johnson & Johnson in Santa Clara, CA is seeking Mechatronics Systems Integration Interns to join Robotics R&D. The role targets students with hardware and software interests who will return to school after the internship.

You will collaborate across mechanical, electrical, controls, and software teams to prototype, test, and integrate surgical robotics platforms while gaining exposure to AI/ML and clinical workflows.

Competenze

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, or similar; must plan to return to academic program after internship.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) with dates aligned to cohort.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Must have work authorization in the United States at hire.

Mansioni

• Support system/subsystem-level surgical robotics development, integration, and testing.
• Identify root causes and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, software and robotic controls domains.
• Characterize and de-risk the design from prototype to subsystem level; analyze test results.
• Develop new test methods and fixtures for system integration, test, and calibration.
