Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited program pursuing a bachelor's, graduate or PhD degree.
• Target majors include Aerospace Engineering, Automation Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, and Robotics Engineering or closely related field.
• Mechanical design experience, including CAD modeling, assembly, or testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with designing and prototyping activities including CAD, manufacturing, assembly, testing, debugging, and documentation for mechanical assemblies and systems
• Generate and present design concepts and perform design reviews to team members
• Utilize various manufacturing methods to quickly prototype your designs, including 3D printing, machining, hand tools and bonding.
• Support hardware or instrument integration, calibration, troubleshooting, and validation efforts
• Document designs, test procedures, and root cause analysis process
• Participate in clinical assessments of robotic devices in inanimate anatomical models
