Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited program pursuing a bachelor’s, graduate or PhD degree returning to an academic program after the completion of the internship.
• Target majors include Aerospace Engineering, Automation Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, and Robotics Engineering or closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with designing and prototyping activities including CAD, manufacturing, assembly, testing, debugging, and documentation for mechanical assemblies and systems.
• Generate and present design concepts and perform design reviews to team members.
• Utilize various manufacturing methods to prototype designs, including 3D printing and machining.
• Support hardware integration, calibration, troubleshooting, and validation efforts.
• Document designs, test procedures, and root cause analysis.
• Participate in clinical assessments of robotic devices in inanimate anatomical models.
