Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Tech to support surgeons by managing surgical instruments and maintaining the sterile field. This role emphasizes hand-off of tools to the surgeon and active involvement in the perioperative process.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, performing accurate patient assessments, education, triage and coordinated care across the continuum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Current RN licensure in state(s) of practice.
• Nurses practicing over the telephone require licensure where patients reside.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process to provide individualized patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
