Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• RN licensure in the state of practice.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications within required timeframes.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience; perioperative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient-centered nursing care in the perioperative setting.
• Administers medications and treatments per policy.
• Documents care clearly and accurately.
• Monitors patient condition and communicates with the team and family.
• Collaborates with surgical and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care.
• Assists with patient transfer, discharge, and referrals.
• Educates patients and families about procedures, recovery, and postoperative care.
• Advocates for patients' physical and emotional well-being throughout the surgical experience.
