Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room in the United States. The role involves assessing patients perioperatively, developing an individualized care plan, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality perioperative care.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license is required. OR/medical-surgical experience is preferred; BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• One year OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required within 90 days of employment.
• Perioperative nursing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
