Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. You will promote the mission and provide perioperative patient care within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, valid state RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. OR experience is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical / surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• PALS within 90 days of employment if pediatric care is included.
• Specialty perioperative nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
