Job summary

SCA Health in New Jersey is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to support perioperative care across our facilities. You will promote the mission and values, assess patient status, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized perioperative plans.

Ideal candidates have nursing degree, OR experience, active state license, and current BLS; ACLS and PALS when applicable. Perioperative certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• BLS certification obtained or current.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is included.
• Perioperative nursing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
