Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room. The role focuses on promoting the mission and values, assessing patients perioperatively, and developing individualized care plans within a multidisciplinary team.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with OR experience and current licensure is required; BLS, ACLS, and PALS as applicable are expected within defined timelines. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical / surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• PALS required if pediatric care is included in facility scope within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
