Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join the surgical team. The RNFA provides advanced perioperative nursing care and collaborates closely with surgeons to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The role may function as scrub or circulating nurse under the surgeon's supervision. Requirements include a post-basic RNFA program, MA RN licensure, and ongoing certification maintenance with ACLS within 6 months of hire; weekend/evening

Qualifications

• Two years of perioperative nursing experience required.
• One year of med/surg nursing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in scrub and circulating roles.

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced perioperative nursing care as the RNFA.
• Assist surgeons and collaborate with the team during surgery.
• Serve as scrub or circulating nurse as needed and under surgeon supervision.
