Job summary

Bozeman Health seeks a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to work with the surgical team in an expanded perioperative role. You will assist intraoperatively, manage preoperative assessments, and participate in postoperative rounds and discharge planning.

Requirements include Montana RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, RNFA program completion, and 3 years as an OR Circulator. Independent practice credentialing may be needed.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN licensure required.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required within specified timelines.
• TNCC certification.
• Completion of RNFA program.
• Minimum 3 years as Operating Room Circulator.
• Credentialing if working independently.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative patient management in collaboration with other health care providers.
• Intraoperative performance of surgical first-assistant techniques and tissue handling.
• Postoperative patient management and discharge planning collaboration.
• Other related duties as assigned.
