Job summary

Right Hire Consulting LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to support surgeons in the perioperative setting. You will function as first assistant, handle scrub and circulating duties, and ensure patient safety throughout operative procedures in Idaho.

Requirements include RN licensure in Idaho, CNOR certification, and at least three years of perioperative nursing experience. On-site position with standard OR responsibilities and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed or licensure eligible to practice as an RN in Idaho.
• CNOR certification required.
• Three years perioperative RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon as first assistant during operative procedures and aid with exposure and hemostasis.
• Perform pre-operative assessment and manage intraoperative tissue handling as directed by the surgeon.
• Document experiences, participate in scheduling and quality improvement activities, and maintain competency in perioperative practice.
• Work in circulating or scrub roles when not scheduled as RNFA and contribute to cost containment and supply ordering.
