Ashley Regional Medical Center in Vernal, Utah seeks an experienced RN for the Surgery department. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, and collaborate with surgeons and team to deliver safe, compassionate care.

The role emphasizes patient education, accurate documentation, and ongoing professional development; requires an active Utah RN license, Associate's degree, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license required.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• BCLS on orientation; ACLS and PALS within six months.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient's condition and nursing care needs.
• Sets goals and prescribes nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social and rehabilitative needs.
• Develops and implements individual nursing care plans and revises as needed.
• Evaluates patient care outcomes and collaborates with physicians and staff.
• Administers medications, treatments and therapies.
• Communicates with patients and oversees provision of care.
• Provides patients and families with instruction and education.
• Documents nursing observations, assessments, medications and care.
