Job summary

Ashley Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Nursery in Vernal, Utah. The role centers on delivering compassionate neonatal and maternal care within a community hospital setting.

Applicants should hold a state RN license (Utah) or Compact license and an Associate's degree with BSN preferred. Certification requirements include BLS, STABLE or Neonatal Resuscitation per policy and 1+ year nursery experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Current Utah RN license or Compact License with Utah endorsement.
• One+ years of Labor & Delivery, Postpartum or Nursery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided and monitors patient condition.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and supports family education.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate transfer, discharge and support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and family and provides age-appropriate education.
• Advocates for the patient’s physical and emotional well-being.
