Job summary

Qualifications

• ARC-PA certified PA program completion.
• Must have passed PANCE.
• Must maintain Maryland PA license.
• Prescriptive authority (CDS/DEA) eligibility required.
• Must maintain BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the operating room as first assistant for multiple service lines including robotics and general surgery.
• Performs pre-operative H&P, orders tests, and coordinates care with supervising physicians.
• Conducts post-operative assessments and develops treatment plans based on data gathered.
• Communicates findings to hospital departments to facilitate collaborative patient care.
• Supports quality initiatives and compliant professional billing.
