Job summary

Danbury Hospital, now part of Nuvance Health, seeks a full-time Surgical Physician Assistant to join its Surgical Advanced Practitioner Services program in Danbury, CT. The role includes OR assist, pre/post-operative care, and a rotating schedule with occasional overnights.

The ideal candidate is board-certified with surgical experience; Da Vinci robotics training is a plus. We offer CME and dues allowances as part of a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician assistant with surgical and/or patient management experience.
• Da Vinci robotics training or hands-on experience with robotic equipment.
• Willing to work a rotating schedule including days, weekends, holidays, and some overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical and pre/post-operative care for patients.
• Assist in operating room as part of the Surgical Advanced Practitioner Services program.
• Participate in a growing 24/7 service expansion and coverage planning.
