Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in laboratory science.
• Clinical laboratory training program completion or equivalence.
• Experience with accessioning and grossing preferred.
• Ability to document data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Gross small surgical specimens, biopsies, and autopsy specimens.
• Dissect and section tissues per SOP.
• Operate and maintain surgical pathology dissection suite.
• Assist Decedent Affairs Office with death certificates and related paperwork.
• Label and file slides; record case statistics daily.
• Maintain infection control and clean work area; monitor equipment.
