Job summary

Inform Diagnostics, a Fulgent Genetics Company, is seeking a Grossing Technician II to assist pathologists with gross descriptions and dissections of surgical specimens. The role requires proficiency with GI, Derm, Prostate, and Breast cores, and the ability to prioritize and follow SOPs for accurate processing.

The candidate should have a biology/chemistry background, at least two years of grossing experience, and meet CLIA high-complexity criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in biological, chemical, or related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of grossing experience.
• Must meet CLIA ’88 criteria to perform high complexity testing.
• CAP requirements knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate gross description and dissection of surgical specimens.
• Maintains documentation and logs per SOPs.
• Assists pathologists and triages specimens as needed.
• Adheres to regulatory and safety protocols.
