MelroseWakefield Hospital is seeking an RN to provide direct nursing care to patients and families in accordance with policies and physician orders. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while maintaining professional standards and contributing to the care team.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, careful documentation, and collaboration with the care team to ensure individualized patient plans and safe discharges.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Department-specific certifications may be required.
• Experience level based on level I–IV.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Integrates evidence-based practice into clinical care.
• Conducts and documents accurate clinical assessments.
• Develops and evaluates the patient''s individualized plan of care.
• Provides professional nursing care to patients and families.
• Manages patient assignments and delegates appropriately.
• Educates patients and families and documents per standards.
• Supports discharge planning and community referrals.
• Precepts and mentors new staff.
• Participates in departmental committees as needed.
