Responsibilities

• Preparing operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring instruments and supplies are sterile and ready.
• Scrub support for surgeons and nursing staff during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention throughout procedures.
• Assist with direct patient care before, during, and after surgery while supporting safety and comfort.
• Support maintenance and preparation of surgical instruments and OR equipment between procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses and perioperative team for coordinated care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
