Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate who completed an accredited Operating Room Technician training program.
• Current AST certification and American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Full-time evening shift availability; 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring instruments and sterile supplies are ready.
• Provide skilled scrub support to surgeons and the perioperative team.
• Assist with patient care before, during, and after surgery while maintaining safety and comfort.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention and aseptic practices.
• Handle and organize surgical instruments and equipment with precision.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers to deliver coordinated care.
• Support cleaning and preparation of OR equipment between cases.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and organizational policies throughout procedures.
