Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by ensuring instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are available, organized, and functioning properly.
• Assist surgeons, registered nurses, and other members of the surgical team by providing scrub support throughout a variety of surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and adherence to infection prevention and organizational policies during procedures.
• Assist with direct patient care activities before, during, and after surgery while supporting patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with perioperative team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
